Vacation Care at Ambrose is for children in school years K-6, and children from all faiths and schools are welcome to our services.
Our program is based on the "My Time Our Place" framework - which is focusses on children's interests and ensures we provide a program they love.
Activities include, excursions (where we go out into the community), workshops (where a special activity comes to us), games, sport, craft and much more.

2025 Parramatta Diocesan PRIMARY Team Sport Trials Nominations are OPEN for the sports of: AFL, Hockey, Football (Soccer), Netball, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Softball & Touch. The expression of Interest registration window is OPEN for the sports listed above and nominations close on 7th February 2025. It is important to note that these trials are generally for those students that MUST demonstrate an ABOVE AVERAGE ability, HIGH LEVEL OF SKILL DEVELOPMENT, or in particular sports demonstrate REPRESENTATIVE playing experience in their nominated sport. In most sports, students should have experience playing regular competitions outside of school. Click on the link below or scan the QR code to nominate for 2025. A copy of responses to the submitted form will be emailed to the address provided in the EOI. One nomination per sport. This online registration is an EXPRESSION OF INTEREST ONLY and MUST be approved by the student's school after the closing date. The school approves students based on playing history and selection criteria for the student to attend the nominated trial or event. πΎ Our 1800s excursion took students on a journey back in time! π°οΈβ¨ Students in Year 1 explored life on a former farm, from milking cows π to feeding chickens π and pumping water π¦. The program also immersed them in history, PDHPE, and Creative Arts, all while dressed in period costumes ππ©. π They met the schoolmistress π©βπ«, saluted the British flag π¬π§, and sang "God Save the Queen" πΆ. Students wrote on slates ποΈ, enjoyed science lessons π¬, sewed π§΅, took part in outdoor drills πͺ, and even danced around the maypole π.
