2025 Parramatta Diocesan PRIMARY Team Sport Trials Nominations are OPEN for the sports of: AFL, Hockey, Football (Soccer), Netball, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Softball & Touch. The expression of Interest registration window is OPEN for the sports listed above and nominations close on 7th February 2025. It is important to note that these trials are generally for those students that MUST demonstrate an ABOVE AVERAGE ability, HIGH LEVEL OF SKILL DEVELOPMENT, or in particular sports demonstrate REPRESENTATIVE playing experience in their nominated sport. In most sports, students should have experience playing regular competitions outside of school. Click on the link below or scan the QR code to nominate for 2025. A copy of responses to the submitted form will be emailed to the address provided in the EOI. One nomination per sport. This online registration is an EXPRESSION OF INTEREST ONLY and MUST be approved by the student's school after the closing date. The school approves students based on playing history and selection criteria for the student to attend the nominated trial or event. ππ What an action-packed few days of sport for βοΈSt Patrick's! ππ Our students shone at both the Touch Football Gala Day at Penrith Touch Fields and the Basketball Gala Day at Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre! π Their sportsmanship, teamwork, and determination were on full display, with plenty of wins and memorable moments along the way! ππ A huge thank you to all the families who came out to cheer π£ and to our amazing teachers for managing and supporting the teams! πΎ Our 1800s excursion took students on a journey back in time! π°οΈβ¨ Students in Year 1 explored life on a former farm, from milking cows π to feeding chickens π and pumping water π¦. The program also immersed them in history, PDHPE, and Creative Arts, all while dressed in period costumes ππ©. π They met the schoolmistress π©βπ«, saluted the British flag π¬π§, and sang "God Save the Queen" πΆ. Students wrote on slates ποΈ, enjoyed science lessons π¬, sewed π§΅, took part in outdoor drills πͺ, and even danced around the maypole π.
